The Caterpillar and His Guts. It is a motivational story to me

Good Day. What are you having for lunch? See how we can talk soon
below. I hope you had a great weekend my friend, the weather was 
great in Atlanta and it got me thinking a little bit.
"What does it take to get through the days when the weather is
bad"? or when someone you care about let's you down, or a day
that just doesn't go your way regardless of all of your efforts.
I thought back on those times as I was sitting in the park. 
And I came up with the definition of what it takes.
A few months ago there was a university doing a test on a
caterpillar to see how it moves it's body forward.
They curiously wondered because a caterpillar doesn't have and 
spine or bones.They used special x-ray machines to look deep
into the inside of this caterpillar.
As they looked closely in curiosity something 
inside of the caterpillar began to move inside that made 
it move forward.As they looked on in amazement 
they realized that the very thing that was moving the
caterpillar was his guts! The thing that we need to move forward
despite any disappointments in life, any season, any
disappointment is gut's. The only way to happiness,
wealth, better health is moving forward just like the
caterpillar and you will find exactly what your looking for.
So don't be a spineless entrepreneur, spineless 
account executive, spineless leader.Get some guts and
all of your hopes, dreams will come start to manifest right in

About Me

Hello, My name is Horace Justice. Direct marketing, Online
marketing, small business marketing, marketing concepts, have
always intrigued me. I was especially interested in providing
the direct marketing ideas for the champion in you and make it
inexpensive.
Part of the American dream is to achieve prosperity. I live for
that dream. My burning desire has always been to be abundantly

I've done several types of direct marketing off and on all of
my adult life. I‘ve sold vacuum cleaners of all kinds. Had to
get out of this form direct sales when I sold a customer 2
vacuum cleaners while working for 2 competitors. The customer
name was on the lead list and that is no excuse for my behavior.
My conscience couldn’t handle it.
I sold debit insurance . Door to door direct marketing at it’s
best or worse. One advantage of being a debit insurance agent
is that you get to know people. I mean really know them. They
tell you about their live for better or for worse. You develop a
rapport with them. It takes a lot of tenacity, motivation and
goal oriented drive Self discipline is a must. Attributes like
self discipline, like be challenged, can do attitude, and o yeah
it takes some courage too. You have to knock door to door and
meet strangers a tell them about insurance. They may not buy
but you have a prospect to put on sells lead list. I tell you
this these are some of the same attributes necessary to do great
things in life. They are certainly needed in be an entrepreneur,
small business owner, real estate agent, real estate investor,
or to be great in any profession including work at home moms.
In the debit insurance industry there was a saying.” If you sell
whole life insurance you can’t sleep. If you sell term life
insurance you can’t eat.”
Translation. Your conscience will bother you if you sell whole
life because it is presumed that this is the worse kind of
insurance for the client because it is so expensive.
On the other hand , term is more cost effective and better for
the client. Commissions on whole life are greater than
commissions on term life. You make money in smaller amounts
therefore you can't eat.
I've been in many, many multi level marketing programs(MLM),
pyramid schemes according to your friends and family or some
call it network marketing programs. I started with Amway and
joined many more over the years.
I Learned a lot but did not make money. I could write a book
about network marketing. It will not have a happy ending
I started business direct marketing for other businesses and
non-profit organizations. One reason I starting door to door
direct marketing of flyers , post cards, door hanger
advertisement, and leaflets, menus, and pamphlets
throughout the metro Atlanta Area because of how expensive it is
advertise.
I had this problem in a previous business and I knew other
business owners had the same problem especially start up
businesses and small businesses. I knew advertising was key to
building a successful business. People had to know about you in
order for them to contact you.
I marketed to them and convinced some to try door to door
direct marketing on a smaller scale. It worked for some. You
loose the other because their finances did not allow them to do
no more. Small business marketing can be somewhat expensive if
the return is slow and long term. Many clients are lost right
here because they are on a tight budget.

What Have I learned?

I have learned that grass root direct marketing company like
Justice Enterprise has only one chance to make a good impression
because the odds are against you from the beginning. So you have
to be thick skinned. Be resilient. Bounce back from setbacks
and adversities. Don’t take things too personal.
Let me explain.
When I work with a champion like yourself as a direct marketing
customer I hope the advertising gods are with us.
As I mentioned earlier on the door to door marketing page
sometimes there are better odds in Vegas. Things have to line up
right. The end results are either I am a marketing guru or I'm
not. There is no middle ground.

I make it a habit of telling you the truth up front
which cost me some business I am sure. On the other hand, I learn
that you are not going to get everybody as a client. That’s ok.
I sleep well.
And another thing!
Never give up on your dreams . Double you efforts if you have
to. Champions inspire people and are inspired by people. Learn
or read or look at stories about great people you admire. What
would they do? Do you give up when things are challenging? No.
Do you persist with guts and determination? Yes, stay focused
until the struggle is over. Then prepare for the next struggle.
It’s coming. It is waiting in line. Thank God for all blessings
large and small. Never give up.

Often we are so busy with our business and live that we do take
time to laugh at all. There is too much seriousness. Be silly and
laugh sometimes, ok. Take time away from taking care of home or
business, stop online marketing, stop your direct marketing
efforts, stop blogging for five minutes to laugh. I promise it
will make you feel better. Here is my contribution. Enjoy it and
laugh and get back to your journey.
A woman was walking along the beach when she stumbled upon an
unusual old lamp.  She picked it up and cleaned it off, and
suddenly a "Genie" appeared. The amazed woman asked if she was
going to receive the usual three wishes.
 
The Genie said, "Nope..due to inflation, constant downsizing, low
wages third-world countries, and fierce global competition, I can
only grant you one wish. So ... what'll it be?" The woman did not
hesitate. She said, "I want peace in the Middle East   See this
Map? I want these countries to stop fighting with each other."  
The Genie looked at the map and exclaimed., Gadzooks, lady! These
countries have bee at war for thousands of years. I'm good, but
not THAT good! I don't think it can be done. Make another wish."  
The woman thought for a minute and said, "Well, I've never able
to find the right man. You know, one that's considerate and fun,
likes to cook and helps with the housecleaning, is good in bed
and gets along with my family, doesn't watch sports all the time,
and is faithful.
That's what I wish for...a good mate."  
The Genie  let out a long sigh and then said, "let me see that
map again!"

Direct Marketing For The Champion Radio Talk Show Host, Producer,
And Guest is all about how I got started in radio. My life have
never been the same even though I had been extensively exposed to
small business marketing for many prior years.This is new to me. just like. The results were very favorable with "The Antonio Smith Show." Lets
hope that other endeavors will be 10 times more favorable
But I’ve been driven to make an impact in that
industry ever since.
Earlier I mentioned that I was the producer and promoter and
whatever else it took to make "The Antonio Smith Show" a great
success. From May 2009 to may 2010 we promoted "Tass" as "The
Voice of The Community." We proudly entered the studio at the
station a put on the best show this station had ever heard. This
is the opinion of a veteran producer and mighty fine talk show
host himself. He said we were the best ever at that station in
over 30 years.

I've never been exposed to radio at all. I always listen to
Great Radio Talk Show Host like Rush Limbaugh, Larry King and
Neil Bortz in Atlanta, and several more.
I got exposed to some fresh blood in terms of talk radio. When I
heard compelling stories like Ty Best on "The Sir Markadoo
Show" I was totally hooked. Best selling Author of "The
Sellionaire" Antonio Smith (www.the.sellionaire.com) and I
started our own radio talk show “The Antonio Smith Show” on a
small Atlanta market. It was so small in the ratings that it did
not register on the arbitron ratings. The first show was not
very good. Filled with courage and determination we pushed
ahead. Things started to happen. Soon we were the #1 show on

Memorable Guests From "The Antonio Smith Show"

My job was to help get the guests. I would call and set up a
pre-interview over or the phone and by email
ahead of time. Sometimes the same day.That was a real challenge
That's the honest truth because I
scheduled guest and handled on air problems. Direct marketing was
my expertise so I had they in the bag. Did I tell you this was
a live program 5 days a week for one hour.
Man we had guts. The majority of the people owned businesses,
wahm (work at home moms),entrepreneurs, community leaders, and
just "ordinary people(direct marketing champion) doing
extraordinary things." as Sir Markadoo would frequently say on
his show .As the show producer of "The Antonio Smith Show" I
soon recognized that the overwhelming majority of the guest were
newbies to the radio business. They've never been on the radio.
They never did direct marketing radio. They have never been in a
radio studio. I was a newbie to all aspects of radio just a few
days or few weeks before them. I was still a newbie to radio
contracts, direct marketing for radio, radio advertising and
other direct marketing concepts and techniques. Most couldn’t
tell it. You would have been impressed. We acted like
professionals. You probably would have done the same. You’ll be
surprised what you can do when you have a can do attitude. Many
times I was approached by people who thought I owned the Station
or was a high level manager. Wow! That's the truth. Another or
my many responsibilities was too prepare the guest mentally for
the show. Sometimes I had to encourage , confidence , courage
or sometimes calmness.That was a very fine balancing act.
Sometimes we had to encourage passion and excitement. But it
worked. Thinking about venturing into some form of the radio
business? Do it. I know you can do it. Antonio and I did it
successfully. So can you! I have no regrets. I highly
recommend it. Champions are needed to bring fresh
blood and new ideas and methodologies. Shake it up! Move forward.
Be a risk taker!
I've met several sheroes and heroes while being expose to
radio business as a champion. First up is Honorable Jackie
Boatwright. I had heard a short version of her incredible story
on the “Sir Markadoo Show. When we started “The Antonio Smith
Show”, I immediately sought her out. Finally I made
contact with her and set up an hour interview with Ms.
Boatwright. First let me explain what I did not
have to do. I did not have to encourage her be passionate
,compassionate and compelling. She was all that and then some.
Man what a compelling and life changing moment for me . Her
story greatly impacted my life. I’m thinking, What excuse do I
have for not achieving my goals and dreams? I cannot think of
one. Can you?
It is time for me to move forward with even greater
determination than ever before As she
began to tell her story the phone lines lit up and that is good
news for the radio talk show business. It is
good for the radio talks show host. It is good for the radio talk show producer and more importantly it
was good for the guest. I had done some direct internet marketing(email
marketing)prior to her appearance on the show and one of the
locals newspaper(The Champion) responded to my email . He
called me after the show to get her contact information. I
found out later that The Champion newspaper did an extensive
write up on her story. That makes me happy.Here a is summary of

A life changing event happened to Juan and his mother.
Anthony DeJuan Boatwright, or Juan, was 14 months old when he
fell head first into an unattended bucket of mop water at a
state-licensed family day care center in Augusta, Georgia. He
sustained severe brain damage and today is in a semi-comatose
state and is dependent on a ventilator. The center that
was caring for Juan didn't have liability insurance. There was
no law in Georgia that required the center
to have liability insurance in order to be issued a state
license to care for children, and no law that required day care
providers to inform parents of their insurance status. Thanks
to Juan's mother, Jackie Boatwright, "Juan's Law" is now law in
Georgia, California, Virginia. Juan's mother is my Shero. She
had a life changing event. In 2001. She was a newbie. She did
not know who to call or what to do. She was not experienced in
legal matters.
Yet, with , courage, passion, tenacity, persistence, guts,
fight and leadership; Today the Us House has passed Juan's Law
9 years later. How many of us would have given up by now? With
patience and persistence she decided to never give up! You
should never give up either. I know that’s so easy to say but
the actual application is tough. So what. Still do it. Keep your
eyes on your dreams. That is your responsibility! If it is to
be it’s up to me. Be encouraged. Advertise and market your
faith. This was an inspiring and motivational story for me as
well. Do I have a excuse for failure after hearing this true
story? Do you? I think not.

Protecting your mindset.
You’ve got an idea that is new and exciting. It’s unique and
attainable. It’s the next big money maker and it’s all yours.
But the moment you share your idea with someone, you get the big
slam. It’s never going to work.. That’s been tried before. I
once knew a guy who heard of a girl that tried that… You know
the story. The problem is that most people had a god idea at one
time or another and when they tried it, they fell flat on their
faces. Don’t worry, if you decide to pursue you’re your idea
despite the numerous critics, you’re probably going to fall flat
on your own face, too. The difference between you and them,
though, is that you’re going to get right back up and try again.
The mindset of successful people has often been the subject of
books and seminars that all want you to understand that it takes
someone special to do what you’re trying to do. You don’t to
settle for the bottom of the totem pole; you’re different. You
can take the beating of of your life and get right back up to
win the fight. You are going to make it. If you take this
paragraph and chant it like your greatest manta., you might
just begin to understand what I mean.
Think about nearly every self made millionaire that you know
of. How did they start making those huge bucks and taking
over massive real estate? By starting out in their garage with
some of their nerdy friends who had nothing better to do. By
going door to door and begging people to give a chance to
prove what you’re made of. I can tell you that every last one
of these people had the door slammed in their faces more times
than they could count. Their friends and family told them that
they should pursue something a bit more…realistic. They faced
bankruptcy and foreclosure, but refused to to close the doors
until they got their hands on that ever-elusive success. They
didn’t give up. An they won.
Whatever it is that you’re trying to do, remember that you are
trying to do, remember that the very first thing you have to
master in this long, drawn out process is your mindset. If you
don’t think that that you are successful. That goes for
starting up the next best technology company or working at the
local grocery store. So get out a pad and a paper, and decide
three things:What do do you want to do. How are you going to do
it? When is it going to happen? Make some goals and then stick
to them no matter how hard it gets. If you get nothing else
from the experience, you’ll figure out the best strategy and
what some realistic short or long term goals might be to get
you where you want to go.
So you’ve got your plans drawn up, you ‘ve looked in the mirror
and told yourself how successful you are, and now you’re ready
to go and make it happen. The trick is to know that you’re
going to fail before you set foot outside your door. Know that
you’re going to lose more than once just like every other
major innovator did, and you’re going to learn from the
experience. What you’re not going to do is decide your idea
idea doesn’t work so well after all. You’re not going to throw
in the towel because you suddenly ran into a giant brick wall.
You’re going to the hardware store . you’re are going to buy a
ladder, and you’re going to climb over that wall and every other
that dares to put itself in your way. You are unstoppable.

guarantee that you’ll find a lot of long and inspiring books
